Batavia police reports

• Stephanie K.D. Macklin, 19, of the 0-99 block of West 112th Place, Chicago, was arrested March 8 on Kirk Road on a warrant issued by the South Holland Police Department for failure to appear related to leaving the scene of an accident.

• Wayne E. Allen Jr., 47, of the 38W100 block of Shannon Square, Geneva, was charged March 9 with retail theft less than $300 at Jewel-Osco, 119 S. Randall Road, Batavia.

• Gregory M. Oleszkiewicz, 40, of the 12700 block of South Kenneth Avenue, Alsip, was arrested March 9 on a Batavia Police Department warrant for retail theft.

• Isaac J. Rivera, 24, of the 1400 block of Kings Road, Carpentersville, was charged March 9 with speeding 37 mph over the posted limit and driving an uninsured vehicle in the 1300 block of South Kirk Road, Batavia.

• Danielle M. Asquini, 23, of the 600 block of South Fourth Avenue, St. Charles, was arrested March 10 on a Warrenville Police Department warrant on North Kirk Road, Batavia.

• Fraud was reported March 10 in the 1300 block of East Wilson Street, Batavia, when someone attempted to use a person's identity.

• The theft of a package valued at $500 or less that had been delivered to a home in the 300 block of South Van Buren Street, Batavia, was reported March 11.

• Identity theft was reported March 12 in the 2500 block of Hunt Lane, Batavia, after a credit card and checking account were opened in Iowa, and five cellphones were purchased.

• Identity theft was reported March 13 in the 800 block of Morris Court, Batavia, after fraudulent accounts were opened.

• A gas pipe appears to have been deliberately cut in the 900 block of Morton Street, Batavia, according to a March 13 police report of criminal damage to property estimated at less than $500.
