Picturing the Past With ... the St. Charles History Museum

Wouldn’t you want to pay 25 cents to get into a sporting event today?

This poster promoted the game between the Fighting Irish and the Boosters for the city championship during World War II.

The St. Charles History Museum is kicking off the summer with two temporary exhibitions: “Game Changers: Sports in St. Charles” and a tribute to veterans of World War I, which will open in May.

“Game Changers: Sports in St. Charles” features articles, videos and artifacts relating to the popular and unusual sports that makes up the St. Charles community.

The World War I exhibit will feature uniforms and stories from St. Charles residents who served in the war.
