KANE COUNTY: BIKE
The best way to explore the Fox River Trail is by bike. This will allow you to appreciate most of the trail’s 40-plus scenic miles that follow the Fox River. The trail also crosses historic railroad lines, forest preserves and charming downtown areas. There are plenty of spots to stop along the way, whether it’s for a bite to eat at a local diner, a shing break along a dam or to explore a nearby historic landmark.
