Letter: Supporting the Knight of Performances

To the editor:

The Kaneland Performing Arts Boosters want to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to make our fifth annual Knight of Performances dinner a success. The event was fun, the music spectacular, the food delicious, and the baskets amazing!

The money raised from this event supports the band, choir and theater students at Kaneland. We thank Paisano’s Pizza & Grill for catering the dinner, The Corner Grind for the donation of coffee, our many dedicated parents and student volunteers who donated their time and baking talents, Harter Middle School administration and Gigi Statler for allowing us to use their beautiful facilities, the custodial staff for cleanup after the event, Jill Maras and Brian Faulkner for their continued support of the Boosters and the arts at Kaneland, and directors Aaron Puckett, Bryan Kunstman, Christina Staker, Dan Zielinski, Rebecca Andersen, Bradley Staker and Rachel Shershen for their ongoing support of our organization.

Our raffle baskets were wonderful because of the generosity of Abby’s in St. Charles, Ambrogi’s Pizza, Andersen Plumbing & Heating, Austin Violin Shop, Autometer, Batavia Fine Arts Center, Blaine’s Farm and Fleet, Bootlegger’s, Brogan’s Painting, Andy Swims, Buffalo Wild Wings, Bulldog Ale House, Cadence Fitness & Wellness Center, Casey’s General Store, Deb Cargola, Chili’s, Classic Cinemas, Colonial Ice Cream, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Couture Tan, Da Capo Music, Egyptian Theatre, Elburn and Countryside Fire Department, Elgin Community College, Elgin Symphony Orchestra, Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra, Eyes on Elburn, Dr. Keith Hougas, Fireside Restaurant, Laura Gampfer Photography, Genoa Pizza, Graham’s 318, Ginsberg Chiropractic, Grant Park Music Festival, Great Clips, Hair Cutery, Harmony Music School, Ninah Herrero, Hix Brothers Music, Hollywood Palms, Imperial School of Music, Jewel, Jimmy John’s, Kaneland Arts Initiative, Kaneland High School, Kaneland High School Theatre Department, Kaneland Special Needs PTA, Heidi Kintz, KottShot Photography, Leslie Layne, Lou Malnati’s, Marinacci School of Music, Carol Musial, Noodles & Co., Oberweis, Open Range Grill, Paisano’s, Paramount Theatre, Troy Peacock, Raging Waves, Randall Ridge Dental, Dr. Bryan Cichon, Ream’s Meat Market, Rich Wrap, SignFx, St. Charles Bowl, Bradley Staker, Sugar Grove Fire Department, Tasting deVine, Think Driven, Walgreen’s, Walt Disney World, Wildtree, Anya Skiba and Writer’s Theatre.
