ST. CHARLES – The Tri-Cities Community 50/50 Raffle had its first winner: Alison France.

A new part of the St. Charles History Museum’s second annual Best of St. Charles Foodie Fest, the Tri-Cities Community 50/50 Raffle accumulated more than $20,000 in proceeds this year, collected from raffle ticket sales made throughout the St. Charles community, stated a news release.

France, a real estate broker with RE/MAX Excels, held the winning ticket on June 24, which was drawn by 103.9-FM’s Eddie Volkman. Alison Costanzo, executive director of the St. Charles History Museum, stated in her congratulatory message to France, “From one Alison to another, many congratulations on being the first ever winner of the Tri-Cities 50/50 raffle! We hope you and our other participants had a great time at this year’s event.”

France’s finale winning takeaway was over $10,000, stated the release.
