Best Under 40 recognizes those in our community under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions to their profession, community and company. The ideal candidate is someone who is successful in his or her profession and currently involved in community service resulting in high overall impact to Kane County. There are some cases in which a profession alone is enough of a qualification however, we are looking for individuals whose involvement, commitment, and impact to the community goes far beyond what they are paid to do.
Candidates should have achieved levels of excellence in professional and personal development. They should have a current record of involvement as a volunteer and/or board of director level in civic organizations ( school system, non-profit, chamber or trade associations). Strong candidates will be a demonstrated servant leader and have solid leadership skills both professionally and personally.
The strongest candidates will both live and work in Kane County.
In September, a Best Under 40 reception, dinner and awards presentation will be held in honor of our award recipients, to celebrate their achievements and community involvement.
