Kane County Sheriff’s Office

• Wendy L. Hart, 42, of the 00N300 block of Sulley Square near Geneva, was charged July 25 with domestic battery causing bodily harm and domestic battery of a provoking or insulting nature.

• Home repair fraud and a civil dispute were reported July 27 in the 02S800 block of Hart Road near Batavia.

• Identity theft less than $300 was reported July 27 in the 40W500 block of Route 38 near Elburn.

• Prohibited use of a credit card was reported July 28 in the 38W500 block of Blackberry Way near Geneva. A charge of $647.94 to T.J. Maxx in Mundelein was made, according to a sheriff’s report.

• Deceptive practices were reported July 28 in the 1100 block of Batavia Avenue near Batavia. No financial loss was reported.

• Lost or stolen property was reported July 29 in the 40W900 block of Keslinger Road near Elburn. A lost wallet, Florida driver’s license, $700 in cash and several credit cards were reported missing.

• Criminal damage to property under $300 and theft under $500 were reported July 29 in the 36W800 block of Whispering Trail near St. Charles. Piping valued at $50 connecting a water well to a house was damaged, and piping valued at $50 connecting water from a well to a residence was stolen.

• Criminal damage to property greater than $300 and less than $10,000 was reported July 21 in the 7N100 block of Lancaster Road near St. Charles. A culvert pipe, edge of a driveway, custom brick work and landscaping were reported damaged.

• Theft greater than $500 was reported July 26 in the 9S600 block of Route 47 near Sugar Grove. Seven hundred dollars in cash was reported stolen.

• A residential burglary and criminal trespass to real property was reported July 28 in the 6N800 block of Aurora Avenue near St. Charles.

• Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported July 31 in the 0S500 block of Ellithorp Lane near Geneva. Items reported stolen included $400 in cash, a Target credit card and a Kohl’s credit card.

• Theft under $500 was reported July 31 in the 40W000 block of Chadsworth Drive near Geneva. A women’s leather wallet valued at $100, $100 in cash, four credit cards and an Illinois driver’s license were reported stolen.

• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported July 31 in the 33W600 block of Route 38 near Geneva. The rear passenger side of a vehicle was damaged.

• Amber M. Terry, 45, of the 100 block of Vista Terrace, Sycamore, was charged Aug. 1 with possession of drug paraphernalia on Wooley Road near Maple Park.

• Theft of a motor vehicle less than $10,000 was reported Aug. 1 in the 5N700 block of Burr Road near St. Charles. Three golf carts were stolen.

• Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported Aug. 1 in the 39W600 block of Goldenrod Drive near St. Charles. A wallet, driver’s license and credit cards with a total value of $200 and a custom Art and Lutherie guitar with case valued at $800 were reported stolen.

Theft less than $500 was reported July 26 in the 39W300 block of Baker Drive near Geneva. A Marque of Brands self tanner valued at $70 was stolen.

• Theft greater than $500 was reported in the 45W500 block of Read Road near Maple Park. One thousand gallons of propane were reported stolen.
