Kaneville Public Library to host eclipse program for children Aug. 15

The Kaneville Public Library will host programs about the solar eclipse on Aug. 15 and 16. The Aug. 15 event is aimed at children, and the Aug. 16 event is intended for adults and families.

KANEVILLE – The Kaneville Public Library and the Fox Valley Astronomical Society will host a solar eclipse seminar for children at 2 p.m. Aug. 15.

The presentation will cover the best time to view the solar eclipse Aug. 21 and how to make a special viewing device. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade are welcome to attend.

The event takes place at the Kaneville Public Library in the community room.
