Minor injury results from rear-end collision in Campton Hills

CAMPTON HILLS – One driver had minor injuries after a rear-end collision on Route 38, just west of Beith Road, in Campton Hills on Sept. 28.

At the time of the accident, both vehicles were traveling east on Route 38. A Saturn driven by Ruth Trimarchi of Sugar Grove struck the rear of a Chrysler Pacifica driven by Lisa Taylor of Batavia after a white truck between them went around Taylor’s vehicle, according to Hoffman.

Taylor was taken to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva with minor injuries, according to Hoffman.

Trimarchi was issued a ticket for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to Hoffman.
