North Aurora Fire Department responds to attic fire in Aurora

AURORA – The North Aurora Fire Department responded to an attic fire in the 1000 block of Bryant Street in Aurora about 11:40 p.m. Thursday.

Within an hour, the fire was under control, said Fire Chief Ryan Lambert, who noted there were no injuries.

About $30,000 in damage was done to the home, he said.

Firefighters from Aurora, Batavia, Fermilab and Sugar Grove assisted.
