BATAVIA – The League of Women Voters-Central Kane County will register voters at two Batavia events, according to a news release from Kane County Clerk John Cunningham.
“I am proud of the relationship between the Clerk’s Office and organizations like the League of Women Voters that engage and educate residents about civic participation,” Cunningham stated in the release.
Registration will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 14 and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave. Additional events will be held in Plano and Aurora.
Two forms of identification with at least one showing current address are needed to register in person. Information about acceptable ID is available at kanecountyelections.org/VoterRegistration/Registration.aspx#FormsOfID.
Other voter registration options include going to the Kane County Clerk’s Office, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Building B, Geneva; mailing the form available at kanecountyelections.org/VoterRegistration/MailIn.aspx or online via the Illinois State Board of Elections at ova.elections.il.gov.
