In April, artists and art lovers got together at an event called Project Fusion. The result: 18 artists received a total of $25,000 in commissions from patrons.
But there’s an exciting catch. The patrons get to see their commissioned pieces for the first time at a masquerade ball called The Big Reveal. And you’re invited to the party.
“The drama of The Big Reveal makes this event a lot of fun,” said Sabrina Martin, Project Fusion event chairwoman. “Add in the masquerade, great food and cocktails, and it’s going to be a fabulous night.”
Tickets are on sale for Water Street Studios’ marquee fundraiser and masquerade party – Project Fusion: The Big Reveal – which will take place at 6 p.m. Nov. 11 at 160 S. Water St., Batavia.
The evening will feature appetizers from Gaetano’s Batavia and a cash bar. There also will be a wine-and-dine pull, a silent auction and artwork for sale.
Masks are required, and attendees are encouraged to buy artist-created masks being sold through the event website. Masks also will be for sale at the event.
Tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door. A limited number of VIP tickets, which include a pre-party reception and access to a private lounge for the evening with a separate bar, appetizers, and seating, are available for $100.
