Kane County Sheriff's Office reports

• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported Oct. 27 on Route 25 near Red Gate Road near St. Charles.

• Criminal damage to property under $300 was reported Oct. 28 in the 36W600 block of Crane Road near St. Charles. A basement window was reported broken.

•  Trevor H. Whatmore, 27, of the 500 block of Cambridge Avenue, Elburn, was charged Oct. 29 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol, drugs or other compounds, possession of alcohol in a moving vehicle and driving on roadways laned for traffic. A bag containing 2.2 grams of cannabis valued at $10 was taken as evidence, reports state.

• A violation of an order of protection was reported Oct. 30 in the 37W700 block of Route 38 near St. Charles.

• Criminal damage to property was reported Oct. 30 in the 35W400 block of Riverside Drive near St. Charles. A top panel of a storm window valued at $50 was reported damaged.

• Disorderly conduct was reported Oct. 30 in the 41W700 block of Route 38 near Elburn.

• A violation of an order of protection was reported Oct. 30 in the 5N400 block of Glen Oak Lane near St. Charles.

• Criminal damage to property greater than $300 and less than $10,000 was reported Oct. 31 in the 7N600 block of Route 25 near St. Charles. A windshield and driver’s side window with a value of $1,000 were reported damaged.

• Christian A. Dagenais, 26, of the 42W600 block of Star Lane near Sugar Grove, was charged Oct. 24 with reckless conduct. A Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun was taken into evidence, along with a magazine containing nine bullets and three spent casings, reports state. Dagenais allegedly fired three shots at a raccoon.

• Theft under $500 was reported Oct. 25 in the 35W700 block of Bluff Drive near St. Charles. An orange traffic cone valued at $20 was reported stolen.

• Theft of a motor vehicle was reported Oct. 25 in the 3N800 block of Route 31 near St. Charles. A blue Honda Accord was reported stolen.
