Sugar Grove police reports

• Identity theft was reported Oct. 25 in the 100 block of Diana Drive. A victim had two financial institutions notify them that a suspect tried to complete credit card applications using the victim's information.

• Accidental damage to property was reported Oct. 25 on Sugar Grove Parkway near Bliss Road. A semi truck was reported to have sprayed a vehicle with oil; the semi truck was also reported to be smoking.

• Harassment was reported Oct. 24 in the 1100 block of Dorr Drive.

* Criminal damage to property was reported Oct. 22 in the 100 block of Snow Street. The driver's side front and rear tires of one vehicle were reported to be punctured, and another vehicle had a substance believed by officers to be bleach poured into the gas tank.

• Hunter C. Withey, 20, of the 1S600 block of Harter Road, Maple Park, was charged Oct. 11 with criminal damage to state supported property and criminal trespassing to state supported property.

• Telephone threats were reported Oct. 17 in the 100 block of Brompton Lane.

• Theft of scrap metal was reported Oct. 16 in the 400 block of Heartland Drive.

• Retail theft was reported Oct. 13 in the 400 block of North Sugar Grove Parkway. A bottle of Sprite was reported stolen.

• Mariah N. Rodriguez, 26, of the 1000 Block of Terrace Lake Drive, Aurora, was charged Oct. 14 with improper lane usage and driving under the influence.

• Four pumpkins with decorative items valued at approximately $86 were reported stolen off of a front stoop Oct. 11 in the 600 block of Merrill New Road.

• Criminal damage to property was reported Oct. 9 in the 200 block of Goldenrod Drive. Four tires were reported to have been damaged with punctures to the upper sidewalls.

• Disorderly conduct was reported Oct. 9 near the Aurora Municipal Airport.

• An abandoned vehicle was reported Sept. 29 near the intersection of Route 47 and Harter Road.

• A hit and run was reported Sept. 28 in the 300 block of North Sugar Grove Parkway. A vehicle was reported to have struck an air pump twice.

• Burglary to a motor vehicle was reported Sept. 27 in the 900 block of Spruce Street. A .40 caliber Smith & Wesson firearm and ammunition were reported stolen.
