Vintage Book Sale in Batavia underway at library Saturday

BATAVIA – The Friends of the Batavia Public Library will hold a special Vintage Book Sale from 9:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 9.

The sale will take place in the Elizabeth L. Hall Conference Room to the right of the entrance to the library at 10 S. Batavia Ave. Offered will be a selection of classics, sets, novels, nonfiction, large maps and old textbooks.

There also will be gift-quality, coffee-table books and newer sets, each individually priced. Shoppers can return their books to their cars before heading downstairs for the regular monthly used book sale in the Friend Space on the lower level of the library.
