ST. CHARLES – Jim Di Ciaula has been named the next president and CEO of the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, effective Jan. 3.

Di Ciaula and his daughter Celina have been residents of the St. Charles community for several years. Di Ciaula recently retired following almost three decades of service at BMO Harris Bank, after spending over 35 years in the financial services industry and holding several leadership positions, according to a news release. He earned an undergraduate degree in accounting, obtained a CPA and subsequently earned an MBA in Management and Finance from DePaul University, stated the release.

Craig Larsen, chairmen of the chamber board, expressed his faith in Di Ciaula's abilities.

"Jim is an analytical thinker, who will bring a diverse set of skills and experiences to the chamber, including his strong ability to implement strategic planning goals. Jim is passionate about the customer and the customer experience," Larsen stated in the release.

Di Ciaula is currently president and founder of Random Acts Matter and holds a leadership role for community impact and outreach at Christ Community Church. He is the former board president of TriCity Family Services and has served on other nonprofit/membership boards, including Common Threads, The Illinois CPA Society and the Bank Administration Institute of Illinois.

Larsen commented on Di Ciaula's importance in the community.

"He is an active community leader, who is passionate about building relationships and giving back," stated Larsen, "We are excited to welcome Jim to the chamber."
