BATAVIA – Water Street Studios will present its second annual juried Winterfest Art Market opening Dec. 8 in Batavia for holiday shoppers looking to support local artists.

It will feature many local and regional artists and artisans displaying unique gift choices for every style and budget, including handcrafted jewelry, stoneware, glass works, functional and decorative wood objects, photographs, cards, imaginative craft items and plenty of paintings, drawings, prints and other original artworks, according to a news release.

People also can purchase pieces from Water Street Studios’ resident artists in their studios.

There will be local and regional artist booths in The Dock area at the back entrance of Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water St.

The Winterfest Art Market will be open from 1 to 9 p.m. Dec. 8 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10. Artwork in the Dempsey Family Gallery will remain on sale during regular weekend gallery hours through Dec. 17.
