SUGAR GROVE – Authorities seek the public’s help in locating Kennrith L. Foster, 48, whose last known address was in East Chicago, Ind., after an incident at a Sugar Grove business.
Foster is believed to be armed, a news release stated.
Sugar Grove Police Chief Pat Rollins stated in the release that Foster entered a business in the 300 block of Sugar Grove Parkway around 3 a.m. Sunday. While there, Foster fired a gun, striking a victim, and physically attacked the victim, causing additional injuries, the release stated.
The victim was employed at the business. It was not a random event, as the offender knew the victim, according to the release. Foster had a previous relationship with the victim, and they had previous domestic disputes with one another.
Foster immediately fled in a vehicle from the scene. He was last seen driving a black 2004 Lexus ES 330 sedan, with Illinois plate number G641943.
The victim remained hospitalized as of Tuesday evening, the release stated.
Foster is believed to be armed. Anyone who sees him or knows of his location should immediately call 911.
The investigation is ongoing, as the Sugar Grove Police Department – with the assistance of the Kane County Major Crimes Task Force – is actively pursuing Foster.
