Prayer in Batavia part of Pietra Fitness breakfast event

BATAVIA – A prayer breakfast from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Jan. 10 at the Nazareth Spirituality Center in Batavia will highlight Pietra Fitness. The event is sponsored by Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary. Pietra Fitness is a wellness program for mind, body and soul, a news release stated. The stretching and strengthening class integrates Christian prayer and meditation into the workout. People of all beliefs are welcome. The presenter is Mary Cornell, a businesswoman who was introduced to the discipline on a retreat, and went on to complete certification requirements for both Gentle and Level 1 this fall. She is an affiliate of Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary in Batavia.

The Nazareth Spirituality Center is at 717 N. Batavia Ave. Admission is a free-will donation. A continental breakfast will be available. To register or for information, call Linda Isleib at 630-879-1296.
