ST. CHARLES – The St. Charles Police Department and the West Chicago Police Department are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect believed to have committed two armed robberies in the area Dec. 27, 2017, a news release from the St. Charles Police Department stated.

One armed robbery was at the Domino’s Pizza, 1450 W. Main St., St. Charles, and the other was at Thornton’s gas station, 1330 S. Neltnor Boulevard, West Chicago, the release stated.

On Dec. 27, 2017, at 12:17 a.m., St. Charles police officers responded to Domino’s Pizza for a report of an armed robbery, the release stated.

The employees reported that the offender entered the front door, allegedly displayed a black handgun and demanded cash, the release stated.

The employee handed over the cash as well as a cell phone that the offender demanded, the release stated. The offender allegedly fled on foot.

The departments have released a photo and description of the suspect, who is described as a 25-year-old Hispanic male, who stands at approximately 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds, the release stated.

Police are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect, the release stated. Anyone with information about the suspect should contact the St. Charles Police Department at 630-377-4435 or the West Chicago Police Department at 630-293-2222.
