Kane County Sheriff's Office reports

• Leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage was reported Jan. 19 in the 39W100 block of East Burnham Lane near Geneva.

• Deceptive practices were reported Jan. 22 in the 42W300 block of Sylvan Lane near St. Charles. A possible financial loss of $2,000 is possible if payment to an online seller is not stopped, police reports stated.

• Wayne Edward Allen, 47, of the 39W100 block of Shannon Square near Geneva, was charged Jan. 15 with domestic battery of an insulting or provoking nature and interfering with a report of domestic violence.

• Theft over $500 was reported Jan. 19 in the 5N200 block of Shady Oaks Court near St. Charles. Items reported stolen include $105, Visa gift cards for $200 and for $55, a Michaels gift card for $75 and four Target gift cards, ranging in value between $25 and $50.

• Identity theft was reported Jan. 19 in the 900 block of West Fabyan Parkway near Geneva.

• Courtney L. Macko, 26, of the 200 block of East Stimmel Street, West Chicago, was charged Jan. 20 with leaving the scene of an accident involving vehicle damage, driving too fast for conditions, operating a vehicle while using an electronic device and operating a vehicle with expired registration.

• Theft under $500 was reported Jan. 20 on South James Drive near St. Charles.  

• Identity theft was reported Jan. 16 in the 36W700 block of Oak Road near St. Charles.

• Deceptive practices were reported Jan. 17 in the 43W600 block of Willow Creek Drive near Elburn.

• Christian M. Bails-McCleod, 27, of the 100 block of North Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora, was charged Jan. 17 with disorderly conduct.

• Theft over $500 was reported Jan. 17 in the 6N900 block of Wabash Avenue near St. Charles. Items stolen but recovered include a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 valued at $300, an iPod valued at $100 and a gold necklace with pendant valued at $100.

• Sarah Ann Thompson, 20, of the 300 block of North Lincolnway Street, North Aurora, was charged Jan. 17 with aggravated domestic battery.
