"St. Charles has been so good to me," he said. "All I wanted to [do] is give back everything you've given to me. I'm kind of speechless. I will cherish this for the rest of my life. Thank you."
He turned emotional at the sudden appearance of his family and close friends gathered around, including his four children, T.C., Brent, Christina and Luke. His wife, Amy, who accompanied him to the dinner, said it was tough to keep the plans secret, with two of their sons returning from college to be able to join their dad.
