As for those hoping to grab a quick lunch or grab a coffee with their sweetie, the Corner Grind in Elburn has gifts sets of mugs with gift cards and drink specials.
“We have a couple of drink specials planned to mimic flavors in a box of chocolates,” said Jacob Roberge, manager of the Corner Grind. “A strawberry white chocolate mocha, a hazelnut caramel bonbon and a cherry mocha meltaway.”
The Corner Grind likely will also offer a different pastry option for Valentine’s Day, perhaps a white chocolate cherry scone. Heart-shaped frosted shortbread cookies also will be available.
