That’s where Random Acts Matter comes into play, just like the group did Feb. 13 when RAM organized an action to help sack and carry groceries for people at Blue Goose Market, 300 S. Second St., St. Charles, as part of Random Acts of Kindness week, Feb. 11 to 17.
RAM volunteer Jen Rothenberg was accompanied by nine players from the St. Charles North Stars 14U travel baseball team for the kind act, which seems to have been appreciated by the community.
“I think it’s great,” said Terri Williamson, who was shopping at Blue Goose Market. “They are doing an excellent job.”
The baseball players themselves also appreciated the act.
“I think it’s nice to give back and show how you can care about other people,” Aidan Pieper said.
