["Cupcake Icing" by Felicia Raschke of Batavia will be in a pop-up exhibit in downtown St. Charles during the Fox River Arts Ramble on April 21, spanning Elgin to Aurora.]
Raschke said she has two works in the Ramble's pop-up exhibition in downtown St. Charles, and looks forward to meeting other participants and the public at an artists reception from 5 to 7 p.m. at 311 N. Second St., Suite 100, St. Charles.
The day of the Ramble, jewelry designer Nancy Neill of Batavia invites visitors into her studio in the historic Challenge building perched on the Fox River near downtown Batavia at 335 N. River St., Suite 208, Batavia. She also will feature sewn specialty pillows by veteran designer Kelly Desmond of Geneva of Desmond Brown Design.
"She does these fabulous reading pillows – you can tuck in your laptop or book," Neill said. "And I'll be showing some of my nature-inspired jewelry and showing my beautiful view of the Batavia dam and Riverwalk. This is a really cool view and nobody gets to see [it normally]."
