GENEVA – PB Kitchen Design in Geneva raised more than $13,000 during the Fox Valley Kitchen Walk it hosted May 19, featuring some of the firm’s premier kitchen projects in Geneva, St. Charles and Batavia, the company announced in a news release.
The money raised will be donated to Fox Valley Food for Health, an organization that instructs teens how to prepare healthy, organic and nutrient-filled meals for seriously ill or cancer patients, the release stated.
More than 200 guests attended the kitchen walk, which culminated with a reception at PB Kitchen Design’s showroom at 200 S. Third St., Geneva.
The funds were raised from ticket sales, online donations and a silent auction.
“Being a family-owned business, it’s important to us that we give back to organizations in our community,”
Dan McFadden, president of PB Kitchen Design, stated in the release. “We are thrilled to continue the tradition of our kitchen walk.”
