Cruisin' for the Kids car show to benefit Mooseheart

Exhibitors to show off prized vehicles

MOOSEHEART – The chance to win a 1967 red Ford Mustang will be part of festivities at Mooseheart's Cruisin' for the Kids event celebrating prized cars and motorcycles from 3 to 8:30 p.m. July 21, complemented by food on the grill, a beer tent and music by a DJ.

All vehicle models and years are welcome, according to a news release. The event, which highlights classic, antique, modified, custom vehicles, street rods, trucks and motorcycles, is sponsored by Mooseheart Lodge 2655.

The first 200 registrants will receive a free event T-shirt. All proceeds go to Mooseheart, a residential home for children in need from infancy through high school. The registration fee for a vehicle is $20, with details at mooseheart.org.

Tickets for the Mustang raffle cost $10, and the winner will be announced Dec. 3.

The main entrance to the 1,000 acre Mooseheart Child City and School campus is on Route 31 between Batavia and North Aurora. Volunteers will guide participants and spectators to the show field and visitor parking area. Vehicles will be displayed on the grass and tree-lined grounds.
