Batavia police reports

• Burglary to a motor vehicle was reported Aug. 1 in the 300 block of Thoria Road, Batavia.

• A vehicle was scratched on its sides and had its front emblem pulled out and driver's side fog lights taken, according to an Aug. 2 report of criminal damage to property that happened between Aug. 1 and 2 in a parking lot in the 300 block of East Wilson Street, Batavia.

• Theft above $500 was reported Aug. 3 in the 1000 block of Lorlyn Circle, Batavia.

• Theft of $500 or less was reported Aug. 3 at a business in the 800 block of North Randall Road, Batavia.

• A person in Batavia received threatening text messages, according to an Aug. 3 report of harassment by telephone.

• A pool was damaged Aug. 3, according to an Aug. 4 report of criminal damage to property in the 1100 block of Chillem Drive, Batavia.

• Several items valued at more than $500 were reported stolen between Aug. 4 and 5, according to an Aug. 5 report of theft at a business in the 500 block of South River Street, Batavia.

• Identity theft was reported Aug. 7 in the 1000 block of North Avenue, Batavia.

• Two bottles of medication were reported stolen Aug. 7 in the 700 block of North Van Buren Street, Batavia.

• An unauthorized purchase was made on a hacked account, according to an Aug. 7 report of fraud in the 600 block of Papermill Hill Drive, Batavia.

• Collin B. St. Phillip, 38, of the 1700 block of Foxfield Drive, Belvidere, was arrested on a Batavia Police Department warrant for failure to appear related to charges of unlawful use of weapons involving a firearm in a vehicle, according to an Aug. 7 police report.
