United Fall Fest set Sept. 8 in Campton Hills

Local church hosts event which draws 2k

The eighth annual United Fall Fest will be held from 3 to 10 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 40W451 Fox Mill Blvd., Campton Hills, will include a classic car show, live music, a classic car show, a bags tournament, Kids' Corner, food and beer tents, an outdoor movie and fireworks. The event is free. Funds are raised through food and beverage sales and corporate sponsorships.

CAMPTON HILLS – The eighth annual United Fall Fest will be held from 3 to 10 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 40W451 Fox Mill Blvd., Campton Hills, according to a news release.

Admission is free to this community spirit and fundraising event organized by the church and the Fox Mill subdivision in Campton Hills, which usually draws about 2,000 people.

The event is family-oriented with live music, a classic car show, a bags tournament, Kids' Corner, food and beer tents, an outdoor movie and a fireworks show, the release stated.

Funds are raised through corporate sponsorships and food and beverage sales to benefit the Congregational Church’s charitable mission for CASA Kane County, the Elderday Center, Habitat for Humanity Pottawatomie Chapter, St. Charles Shelter Assistance, Tri-City Family Services and Tri-City Health Partnership.
