Sugar Grove library looks for entrants for Indie Author Day

SUGAR GROVE – Illinois authors are invited to submit entries for participation in the first Indie Author Day at the Sugar Grove Public Library.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 22. Authors from across the area are invited to participate in a day filled with activities.

Tables will be provided for meet-and-greet opportunities with readers and book sales, and panel discussions will be formed on relevant topics.

Authors may register by visiting the Sugar Grove Public Library webpage at sgpl.org and clicking on the slideshow discussing the event, Call for Local Authors.

A Google registration form is provided, and genre and interest information is requested. Indicate willingness to participate in panel discussions or share expertise with other patrons and authors.

Lunch will be provided for all participants, and authors are welcome to sell their books and materials to patrons.

This event will be promoted by the Sugar Grove Public Library on all relevant social media, in the community newsletter and in print flyers. For information, email at shannon@sgpl.org or call the library at 630-466-4686.
