Batavia police reports

• Mark T. Rudelich, 22, of the 1000 block of Howell Place, Aurora, was arrested Aug. 25 in the 100 block of South Batavia Avenue, Batavia, on an Aurora Police Department warrant for failure to appear related to a charge of driving under the influence, according to a police report.

• Peggy A. Contreras, 53, of the 1100 block of South Main Street, Harrisburg, Illinois, was charged Aug. 25 with retail theft less than $300 at Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road, Batavia.

• Kiara J. Taylor, 20, of the 200 block of Saginaw Avenue, Calumet City, and Kendra L. Winters, 19, of the 3300 block of West Franklin Boulevard, Chicago, were charged Aug. 25 in an incident of retail theft less than $300 at Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road, Batavia.

• Residential burglary was reported Aug. 25 in the 500 block of First Street, Batavia.

• Jacob P. Dalicandro, 20, of the 1000 block of Woodland Hills Road, Batavia, was arrested Aug. 26 on a Batavia Police Department warrant on a charge of using a forged credit or debit card involving an amount greater than $300, a police report stated.

• An unknown quantity of assorted clothing was reported stolen Aug. 26 from Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road, Batavia, in an incident of retail theft.

• A small .22-caliber semi-automatic handgun was reported stolen Aug. 27 from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Lathem Street, Batavia.

• Fraud was reported Aug. 27 in the 100 block of Flinn Street, Batavia.

• A burglary was reported Aug. 27 in the 600 block of Maple Lane, Batavia.
