Batavia police reports

• A person who was struck and knocked down by someone on the sidewalk in front of a building Aug. 27 in the 1100 block of East Wilson Street, Batavia, was taken to an Aurora hospital, according to an Aug. 28 police report of battery.

• Harassment was reported Aug. 28 in the 1000 block of East Wilson Street, Batavia.

• Bret D. Martin, 59, of the 100 block of Church Street, Batavia, was charged Aug. 29 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent, improper lane use, and disobeying a stop or yield sign on North River Street, Batavia, according to a police report.

• A motor vehicle theft was reported Aug. 30 in the 600 block of Kingsland Drive, Batavia.

• Tools were reported stolen Aug. 30 from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Chillem Drive, Batavia.

• Battery was reported Aug. 31 at Clark Island Park, 401 S. River St., Batavia.

• A man did not pay a $38.06 food bill at Denny’s, 521 N. Randall Road, Batavia, according to a Sept. 1 police report.

• Identity theft was reported Sept. 1 in the 2700 block of Andrews Avenue, Batavia.

• Jesus C. Macias Jr., 38, of the 600 block of Lathem Street, Batavia, was arrested on a Batavia Police Department warrant for failure to appear related to a charge of possession of marijuana of more than 2.5 grams but not more than 20 grams, according to a Sept. 2 police report.

• Tyler J. Hummel, 25, of the 200 block of South Forest Avenue, Batavia, was charged with retail theft greater than $300 on Sept. 2 at Target, 115 N. Randall Road, Batavia.

• A cellphone valued at more than $500 was reported stolen Sept. 2 in the 700 block of Park Street, Batavia.

• A cellphone valued at $1,000 was taken, according to a Sept. 3 report about the overnight theft of lost property in the 500 block of Sioux Drive, Batavia.

• Timothy A. Perez, 23, of the zero to 99 block of North 15th Street, St. Charles, was charged Sept. 3 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving an uninsured vehicle, according to a police report.

• Damage to a vehicle’s passenger-side mirror was estimated at $500, according to a Sept. 4 report of criminal damage to property in the 2300 block of Bird Lane, Batavia.

• Harassment by telephone was reported Sept. 4 at a business in the 1200 block of Kingsland Drive, Batavia.

• Twenty-three tools valued at more than $500 were reported stolen from a vehicle at a business in the 500 block of North Kirk Road, Batavia, according to a Sept. 4 report that noted the theft occurred between Aug. 31 and Sept. 2.

• Two posters valued at $100 were reported stolen Sept. 4 on Randall Road, Batavia.
