MOOSEHEART – The Anderson Animal Shelter’s fourth annual Pets-a-Palooza is a free family-focused pet festival in celebration of pets and their humans. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 16 on the grounds of Mooseheart Child & Family School.

The event is filled with activities, educational offerings and canine expert advice from dog trainers, veterinarians, nutritionists and groomers, a news release stated. It will feature the inaugural Waggin’ Walk fundraiser and an Autumn Marketplace, a wide selection of artisan and pet-related products and services, plus pet-themed demonstrations, interactive entertainment, pet adoptions and two- and four-legged fun activities.

Waggin’ Walk participants will stroll the rural reaches of Mooseheart’s campus beginning at 10:30 a.m., raising funds to save the lives of homeless pets.
