Battling Bulldogs

The pomp and circumstance of Friday Night Lights still gives me goosebumps. So I jumped at the chance to see the defending state champion Batavia Bulldogs on their home turf this season.

The Bulldogs did not disappoint. The air was electric, – and thankfully not because of thunder and lightning. The storm was happening 20 miles or so away and somehow skirted around Bulldog Stadium, sparing the players, fans and families of a rain delay.
