Court Watch training set in Kane County

Volunteers sought to monitor proceedings

ST. CHARLES TOWNSHIP – The Fox Valley Court Watch Program, which monitors the bench and jury trial judicial process in domestic violence courts in Kane and Kendall Counties Judicial Centers, is hosting a free training event for prospective volunteers, officials announced in a news release.

The training is being held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St Charles township.

The program includes continental breakfast and lunch.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and have an email address and daily email access.

To register for the training, visit www.fvcw.org, print out and complete the application form “to volunteer” and bring it to class.

Those who plan to attend the training are also asked to click on the “Contact Us” to send an email stating you will attend the training.
