Early voting leaves lines manageable, few problems at the polls

Kane County voting today was relatively pain-free, thanks in part to record numbers of early voters, which left polling places with swiftly moving lines and fewer technical difficulties.

Kane County Clerk John Cunningham reported that more than 70,000 people cast votes as of 10 a.m. Monday, more than twice the number of early voters in 2014.

Polls are open through 7 p.m. Tuesday evening. Then follow the results online at Kane County Chronicle's Election Central, by visiting www.kcchronicle.com/election/2018
