North Aurora resident Lauren Maxwell was at the All Chocolate Kitchen in Geneva for a Geneva Public Library book club meeting when she answered questions for the Kane County Chronicle's Brenda Schory.

Schory: First job?
Maxwell: Baby sitting – and my mom paid us $1 for each book we read as kids. It continued to middle school.
Schory: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Maxwell: An architect, but I became a reference librarian.
