MetroNet officials, as well as Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns and Batavia Mayor Jeff Schielke, welcome the new cable and internet provider to Geneva at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 28.

GENEVA – MetroNet marked the official activation of its 100 percent fiber optic internet, television and phone services in the Fox River Valley region at a grand opening ceremony at the company’s new retail location, 1772 S. Randall Road, Geneva, the company announced in a news release Nov. 28.

MetroNet president John Cinelli was joined by Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns and the company’s executive team as they cut the ceremonial ribbon.

MetroNet’s new retail storefront in Geneva will serve as the command center for customer service and sales for all of Kane County, the release stated.

Customers will be able to walk in the store and view service plans, discuss any related issues, as well as interact and learn everything there is to know about MetroNet’s services.
