St. Charles resident Cathy Kurinsky was at Wool and Company in St. Chares when she answered questions for the Kane County Chronicle's Brenda Schory.

Schory: Where did you grow up?

Kurinsky: Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I moved every four years, my father was in the service.

Schory: Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Kurinsky: Judi Dench

Schory: First job?

Kurinsky: Baby sitting

Schory: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Kurinsky: I had no ambitions, I was just happy being a kid. I was a stewardess back in the early 1960s.

Schory: Book or series you would recommend?

Kurinsky: “The Crown” on Netflix

Schory: Favorite charity?

Kurinsky: Embrace a Family and Special Olympics

Schory: Favorite ice cream flavor?

Kurinsky: Butter pecan

Kurinsky: My kitchen

Schory: What is an interesting fact about yourself?

Kurinsky: I make 25-30 hats when I get them done and take them to Ronald McDonalds House.
