GENEVA – Six minors and one juvenile were charged with underage drinking Feb. 8 after police were called at 11:38 p.m. to a house in the 800 block of Anderson Boulevard on a loud party complaint, according to Geneva police reports.

The resident of the house, a 20-year-old woman, told police her parents were out of town and as many as 60 people had arrived at the party, which began at 9 p.m., reports stated.

Many partygoers began leaving once police arrived as there were 30 people still there, the report stated.

Minors charged with underage drinking were Chloe M. Watson, 19, of the 1000 block of Fairfax Lane, South Elgin; Megan T. Klebba, 19, of the 1300 block of Hunter Drive, Bartlett; Alexa M. Aiello, 18, of the 1100 block of South Pine Avenue, Arlington Heights; John M. Trocki, 19, of the 500 block of Pheasant Trail, St. Charles; Zackary S. Zolen, 19, of the 800 block of Stamford Court, Schaumburg; and Kyle M. Hall, 19, of the 7500 block of Waterford Drive, Hanover Park, records show.

Police Cmdr. Brian Maduzia said the juvenile, a 17-year-old boy from Glen Ellyn, also was charged with drinking underage.

All those charged are required to appear in Kane County Branch Court on March 19, records show.

Maduzia said police are still investigating whether the house’s resident should be charged with hosting a party where underage people were drinking alcohol, and possibly with underage drinking as well.

“It was quite a lot for the midnight shift,” Maduzia said.

The homeowners were notified about the party and police presence that night and another family member came to stay at the house, Maduzia said.
