Early voting begins Feb. 21 in Kane County

Early voting expands to 32 sites after March 18

GENEVA – Early voting for the April 2 consolidated election begins on Feb. 21 and continues through April 1, Kane County Clerk Jack Cunningham announced in a news release.

“I want to encourage all Kane County voters to consider voting at one of our many convenient early voting centers for the consolidated election,” Cunningham stated in the release.

“As clerk, I have worked to make voting easier and more accessible for all residents. Residents can vote early at any of the early voting centers, including Votemobile sites, in Kane County based on whatever is most convenient,” Cunningham stated in the release. “We have expanded our early voting program to include more sites to cover all corners of the county, whether you live in Pingree Grove or Sugar Grove, Algonquin or Aurora.”

From Feb. 21 to Mar. 15, early voting will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday only at the clerk’s office locations at 719 S. Batavia Ave., Bldg. B in Geneva and at 5 E. Downer Place, Suite F in Aurora.

On Mar. 18, early voting expands to include 32 sites throughout Kane County. Kane County voters can vote at any of them, regardless of where they live.

Permanent early voting sites are open seven days a week with varying hours and include the Kane County Clerk’s Office locations in Geneva and in Aurora; Kane County Branch Court Conference Center, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles; and Vaughn Athletic Center, 2121 W. Indian Trail, Aurora.

Other early voting centers include Campton Community Center, 5N082 Old LaFox Road, Campton Hills; Batavia City Hall, 100 N. Island Ave., Batavia; Elgin City Hall, 150 Dexter Court, Elgin; The Holmstad, 700 W. Fabyan Pkwy., Batavia; St. Charles Public Library, 1 S. Sixth Ave., St. Charles; Sugar Grove Public Library, 125 S. Municipal Dr., Sugar Grove; Town & Country Public Library, 320 E. North St., Elburn.

The Votemobile will be at the following locations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 18 at Jewel-Osco, 652 Kirk Road, St. Charles; March 19 at Jewel-Osco, 800 N. Main St., Elburn; March 26 at Jewel-Osco, 465 N. Route 47, Sugar Grove; March 27 at Jewel-Osco, 119 S. Randall Road, Batavia and at the North Aurora Police Department, 200 S. Lincolnway, North Aurora.
