Man reportedly stabbed during St. Charles party

Incident happened at 9:30 p.m. March 1 in the 200 block of Moore Avenue

The St. Charles Police Department is investigating a fight that occured outside of a party that took place in the 200 block of Moore Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. March 1.

ST. CHARLES – The St. Charles Police Department is investigating a fight that occurred outside of a party that took place in the 200 block of Moore Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. March 1.

"No arrests have been made but we are investigating the report of a possible aggravated battery," Deputy Chief Erik Mahan said in an email.

A 20-year-old man reported that he had been stabbed and was transported to the hospital with an apparent puncture wound, Mahan said. He was treated and released.

"Our investigators are actively working this case and we will release more information if it becomes available," Mahan said.
