Sugar Grove resident to present "Cooking Soup 101"

Virginia Waterstreet will host the program at Big Rock Park District

SUGAR GROVE – Virginia Waterstreet of Sugar Grove will lead the program "Simple Savory Soup" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 11 at the Big Rock Park District Building, 7S405 Madison St.

Admission is $5 and the class is open to the public.

Waterstreet, a health coach, will demonstrate her soup template to make no-fail, delicious and nutritious soups with simple on-hand ingredients. The class is part of her "Take Control of Your Health Naturally" series.

"One of the best things you can do for your health is to cook more at home. We will make a pot of soup together and will have tastings with several few variations/flavor boosters to sample," Waterstreet said in a press release.

RSVP to Waterstreet at (630) 392-3644 or virginia@waterstreetwellness.com.
