[Sandy Bressner - email@example.com]Nate Baxter, St. Charles North, senior Baxter took third in the 100-yard butterfly at the state tournament and competed on three relays: 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle. Nolan Fergus, Marmion, senior Fergus took sixth in the 100 fly, 13th in the 200 medley relay and 20th in the 50 free at the state finals. [Sandy Bressner - firstname.lastname@example.org]Aleksej Filipovic, St. Charles North, freshman A double individual medalist at state, Filipovic finished fifth in the 200 IM and seventh in the 100 free. He was also on the 200 free relay that took second. [Karen Naess for Shaw Media]Siba Filipovic, St. Charles North, junior A state finalist in the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke, Fillpovic was also a member of the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay prelims. [Sandy Bressner - email@example.com]Will Myhre, St. Charles North, senior Myhre won the state championship in the 100-yard butterfly (48.61 seconds) and 100 breaststroke (54.81), leading St. Charles North to its first state swimming team championship. [Sandy Bressner - firstname.lastname@example.org]Matthew Nagler, St. Charles East, senior The sectional champion in the 100 freestyle, Nagler helped earn fifth place in three events and eighth in the 200 medley relay at the state finals. Joey Scimeca, St. Charles East, junior Scimeca took fourth individually at the state finals in diving and took home a sectional championship. [Sandy Bressner - email@example.com]Ty Spillane, Marmion, sophomore Spillane earned seventh in the 100 breaststroke and 13th 200 medley relay at the state finals. [Sandy Bressner - firstname.lastname@example.org]Ricky Williams, St. Charles North, senior A state finalist in the 500 freestyle and 200 freestyle, Williams also competed on the 400 free relay. Williams helped the North Stars earn a program-first state championship.
