ELBURN – Join the Fox Valley Wildlife Center for an evening of fun, food and friends while raising money for animals at the nonprofit organization's largest fundraiser of the year.

The Annual Dinner Auction is from 5 to 10 p.m. April 6 at Pipers Banquets, 1295 Butterfield Rd., Aurora. Guests will enjoy a chicken or vegetarian dinner, participate in silent and live auctions, win raffle prizes and learn more about the importance of the Fox Valley Wildlife Center to the community.

The Fox Valley Wildlife Center, located in Elburn, is a wildlife rehabilitation center that takes in injured and orphaned wild animals from the community, and provides them with care before releasing them back into the wild. The organization relies solely on donations and fundraisers.

Tickets are $50 and 100 percent of the proceeds go directly to the center. They can be purchased at http://www.fvwc.org/events-and-fundraising/.
