Incident isolated, no danger to community: police

CAMPTON HILLS – The Campton Hills Police Department and the Kane County Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the death of a woman on March 24.

At about 6:56 a.m. March 24, officers from the Campton Hills Police Department and the Kane County Sheriff's Office responded to the 40W600 block of Willowbrook Drive in Campton Hills for a 911 call for a report of an injured female, according to a news release from the Campton Hills Police Department.

Responding officers found an injured female, who was subsequently transported to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva. The woman later died of her injuries, the release stated.

No charges have been filed at this time.

"The investigation is ongoing and is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community," the release stated.
