Teachers from Alice Gustafson and Louise White Schools Kindergarten ESL are awarded a grant in 2018 from the Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation.

BATAVIA – The Batavia Mothers’ Club Foundation will welcome grant recipients and the public to a disbursement open house from 4 to 6 p.m. May 23 at the Peg Bond Center in Batavia.

Foundation members will present grant awards totaling nearly $38,000 to representatives of 35 community groups and schools. Grant recipients share BMCF's goal of bettering life for children and families in Batavia and the Fox Valley.

BMCF members raised the money for the grants through its three main fundraisers: Annual Autumn Craft and Vendor Show, Bunco Night and Fox Trot 5k/10k Race events, as well as sponsorships and smaller fundraisers. Applications for charitable disbursements are available on the BMCF website in January and are due by March 15th each year. For more information, visit www.bataviamothersclub.org.
