GENEVA – The Geneva History Museum, 113 S. Third St., Geneva, is promoting May as Membership Month, officials announced in a news release.
Memberships are a small part of the museum’s budget, as most of its money – 75% – comes from individual donations, the release stated.
But memberships come with benefits, including free admission to exhibits, discounted rates for programs and research, invitations to VIP/Members Only Exhibition Preview Parties, Annual Member Celebration, special events and a discount in the gift shop.
Individual memberships are $25 per person, seniors $20, couples $35 and household $50.
Those who renew or become a museum member during May will have a chance to win a $100 gift certificate valid for any museum purchase including research, the release stated.
Donors giving $100 or more during May will also receive access to view recorded museum programs and special videos on the museum’s website.
Memberships and donations can be made at online at GenevaHistoryMuseum.org, by calling 630-232-4951 or by mail to 113 S. Third St., Geneva, IL 60134.
