BATAVIA – Muslims, Jews and Christians will come together from 8 to 10 p.m. June 1 at the Congregational Church of Batavia for a third annual Iftar meal to break the fast of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month.
The meal begins at 8:30 p.m., a news release stated. Co-hosts are the church's justice and witness team and the Batavia Islamic Center. The public is invited to the event at 21 S. Batavia Ave., and admission is free. About 100 persons attended last year.
