• A cargo trailer belonging to a tree service was reported burglarized of $2,650 in equipment May 28. The trailer was parked at 7N479 Route 25, St. Charles Township. According to the report, the stolen items included three chainsaws, a blower, tree climbing equipment – such as a harness and 150-foot rope – and various tools. Damage to the trailer door was estimated at $300, the report stated.

• Four hole pin flags belonging to the Black Sheep Golf Club, 2S610 Seavey Road, Sugar Grove Township, were reported stolen May 20. The flags were white with a black-and-white checkerboard border with the Black Sheep logo in the center. Each is valued at $30.

• Lawn equipment valued at $4,500 was reported stolen May 21 from a dump truck parked at River Hills Memorial Park, 1650 S. River St., Batavia Township. The stolen equipment was a chainsaw, pole trimmer, concrete saw and whacker rammer, reports stated.

• Lawn equipment valued at $1,628 was reported stolen May 14 from a trailer parked in the 36W900 block of Middlecreek Lane, St. Charles Township. A chainsaw and two blowers were taken, reports stated.

• The village of Lily Lake reported $500 in damage to the grass and gravel areas of Simon Anderson Park, 43W680 Empire Road, St. Charles Township on May 12. The suspected vehicle was a dark golf cart with a hard top and five-spoke wheels, reports stated. The golf cart caused deep ruts in the grass areas and also was used to “do doughnuts” in the gravel parking area near the pavilion, also causing deep ruts and spraying gravel all over. Security video shows two people in the golf cart – the driver, a white male, and the passenger, a white male juvenile – reports stated.

• Calamity Jane’s Bar, 9S593 Route 47, Sugar Grove Township, reported May 14 that two Hispanic women and an Hispanic man left the bar without paying their $151.33 tab.

• Nancy A. Peyton, 41, of the 100 block of South Van Buren Street, Batavia, was charged May 15 with unlawful visitation interference in the 0S700 block of Wenmoth Road, Batavia Township.
